Best Practices of the Institution 2016-2017

Following best Practices have done by our institution.
Academic Session : 2016-2017

1. Plantation programme has been done under the supervision of five programme officers on 19th July, 2016. No. ofvolunteers participated were 160. In this programme 100 trees have planted in our college campus and 120 trees have distributed to our adopted villagers. This programme has inaugurated by Mr. Sital De,secretary, G. B. of our college.Awareness rally regarding conservation of forest and plantation was organized under the programme officers.
2. Dengue birodhi Aviyan was held on 22th August, 2016 in the college campus. A seminar was organized by the NSS Volunteers. HonbleBMOH was present and delivered a talk regarding dengue related issues to the volunteers. More than 260 NSS Volunteers were participated in this programme. The TIC and the entire Programme officers also present in this occasion.
3. NSS Department have observed 11th August, 2016 which is popularly known as ˜SAHID DIBAS (Khudirams dedication day). We have arranged a seminar on 10th August, 2016 for observing this day. All the programme officers took part in the programme with the NSS volunteers. Prof. Tushar Chakraborty, TIC, & Head of the Dept., History, and other some dignified professors have discussed on the importance of Khudirams dedication to the nation. We have tried to sensitize our students how this day is so important in the present context. 160volunteers have participated in this programme.
4. National literacy day was observed on 8th September, 2016. We have arranged a possession with the 125 NSS volunteers with some placards emphasis on the importance of literacy and mass education.
5. NSS foundation day 24th September, 2016 have also observed. We have discussed the necessity of NSS to our NSS volunteers. With the help of 250 NSS volunteers, we have done different activities, e.g. college campus cleaning, sanitation cleaning etc.
6. 14th November, 2016 ˜Childrens Day the birth day of 'Pandit Jawharlal Neheru was observed by the NSS units. In this programme we have distributed educational materials like book, khata, pen etc. to 150 childrens from our adopted villages. This programme was held at Yogoda Satsanga Palpara Primary school.
7. National Integration Day, 19th November, 2016 was observed by the NSS units. All the programme officers attendthe programme along with the 130 NSS volunteers. NSS units visit to our adopted village and we made a open discussion among the villagers on the importance of National Integration.
8. 1st December, 2016 is ˜World AIDS day. We observed this day on 30th November, 2016. All the programme officers and Principal/TIC and some renounced professors took part in this programme. We have arranged a possession with the 140 NSS volunteers with some placards emphasis on the AIDS.
