- The teacher must uphold the responsible behavior and mannerisms that the community and peers expect of him or her. He or she will treat teachers and non-teaching staff as colleagues and equal partners in a cooperative attempt for the improvement of the institution, and they will respect the right and dignity of the student to express their opinions.
- Regardless of the students' gender, caste, religion, political, economic, social, or physical status, the teacher must treat them with justice and impartiality. They must also instill in them a progressive, scientific mindset, respect for hard work, and an appreciation of democracy, patriotism, and community welfare. He or she will assist and support the students in achieving their goals, be accessible to them even outside of scheduled class times, and acknowledge the variations in each student's aptitude and capabilities. He or she is not allowed to incite students against the administration, other students, or colleagues. When making an assessment, he or she must be objective and focus solely on the student's accomplishments and qualities.
- The teacher must conduct their personal life in a way that upholds the dignity of their profession. They must also abstain from taking on any other jobs or commitments, such as tutoring or private lessons. He or she will carry out their professional duties in accordance with the State Government's and UGC's current rules and regulations, and they will follow the process and guidelines that are in line with these regulations. If they feel that a rule should be changed, they will only take action after properly notifying the College authority. He or she will not take time off unless absolutely necessary and, if at all possible, with advance notice, keeping in mind that they are accountable for finishing their academic program.
- By study, research, publication, active involvement in professional meetings, seminars, conferences, faculty development programs, and other events, teachers should aim to continually advance their careers.
- The teacher is responsible for keeping in touch with the students’ guardians, sending reports on their performance to them as needed, and meets the guardians in meetings convened for the purpose for mutual exchange of ideas and for the benefit of the institution.
